Amazing free education material! Thank you for sharing this. Great insight on the trailing profit target strategy. I hope you're finding great success with Palinuro Capital.

What I didn't 100% understand is how you update the target range over time. Do you consider the sigma relative to the initial value or would you periodically recalculate (for example monthly) the initial value and sigmas and update the range from there?

(You imply no update on initial with defining a range of 1.5 to 3.5 sigma.)

Based on your piece my interpretation of what you are saying is:

You have a defined time window of 1 month and a static initial value. Within that month you apply a trailing profit strategy. After that month you reassess the trade like it's a fresh trade.

Would be cool to get some feedback!

Thank you for sharing your amazing insight on how to adjust your Risk according to market volatility. I have been trading since 2011 and the amount of market manipulation due to TRUMP has no match in history. I have found out that i have leave my perfect trade just because trump is about to fire someone. Loosing a trade because fake information bene fed to the market to hit your stop loss. How do you deal with this fake news / information? Would love your insight.
